Using Pink Jeepney
Notes, mail, passwords, burn
A sentence, a password, a mail, or a burn. Use the one the file needs. Leave the rest alone.
Note
A note is a sentence on the pickup page. Thursday build is enough. Keep it under 280 characters.
Email the link
If you type their email, Pink Jeepney tries to send the link. When mail cannot leave for that address, the send still succeeds and the page tells you to copy the link. Forward it yourself.
Password
Paid plans can lock a link. The password is never written into the URL. They need the link and the password, ideally in two places.
Burn
- Burn after download deletes the files once someone picks them up.
- Burn on the account page deletes a send now. The link stops working.
- The CLI can do both: --burn on send, or burn <id> later.
