Terms
Pink Jeepney is a way to send a file and to receive one at an address. It is run by David Krug from Manila. Using the site, the inbox, a pickup link, the CLI, or Tricycle means these terms.
The ride
You upload a file. Someone gets a link, or it lands in an inbox. The file stays for the length of the plan, then it goes. Free is 7 days. Personal is 30. Professional is 90. Business can be a year. Burn after download can end it sooner. A Tricycle room ends in 12 hours.
This is a handoff, not a place to keep the only copy. If the link expires, the file is gone. Download what you still need before that.
Your files
You need the right to send what you upload. Do not send malware, do not send something that belongs to someone else, and do not use the service to break the law or to hurt someone.
David can remove a file, kill a link, or close an account that is being used that way. He can also do it if the service is being abused, flooded, or used to store things that were never meant to move.
What this is not
Files are not end-to-end encrypted. A password on a paid plan locks the pickup link. It does not hide the file from Pink Jeepney. If a file must stay secret from the host, use a different tool.
We do not promise that every send will arrive, that mail will leave, or that the site will never have a bad hour. We will try. When it breaks, write david@pinkjeepney.com.
Plans
The prices and the limits are on the pricing page. A paid plan is billed monthly through Stripe. You can stop by writing David. When the subscription ends, the account returns to Free. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise.
The link is the key
A pickup link is a secret until you share it. Anyone who has it can download, unless you set a password. If you mail the link and the password in the same message, you have handed over both.
Accounts and keys
You are responsible for the account, the handle, and any API key you create. A key can send as you. If a key leaks, revoke it on the account page. Do not share the account.
The service can change
Features, limits, and these terms can change. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current terms. If you keep using Pink Jeepney after that, the new terms apply. If you do not want them, stop, and ask for the account to be deleted.
Liability
Pink Jeepney is offered as it is. To the extent the law allows, David Krug is not liable for lost files, expired links, a recipient who never opened the page, or damages that follow from using the service. The most you can recover for a paid plan is the amount you paid for that plan in the month the problem happened.
Questions go to david@pinkjeepney.com. David Krug reads them.
