CLI
Send, link, list, burn
send and link both print one line: the pickup link. A script can capture that line. --inbox also files the pull in your inbox.
Send a file you have
node pink-jeepney.mjs send ./deck.pdf ./notes.txt --note "Thursday"- --note is the sentence on the pickup page.
- --password locks the link. Say the password separately.
- --to takes a handle or an email. A handle, or an email that already has an address, lands in their inbox. Any other email is mailed the link. If mail cannot leave, you still get the link on the next line.
- --burn deletes the files after the first download.
- More than one path sends them together.
Pull a public link
Don’t download it just to send it. link is for a public file on Drive, Dropbox, S3, R2, or any host that will hand over the bytes. Their host, then ours. Pink Jeepney fetches it and prints a pickup link. No login and no OAuth.
node pink-jeepney.mjs link "https://example.com/file.zip" --note "From their Drive" --to annie@example.com- The same flags as send: --note, --password, --to, and --burn. Add --inbox to put the file in your own inbox instead of only printing a link.
- A Dropbox link anyone can open, and a Drive file shared as anyone with the link, are the ones that work.
- A public Drive folder becomes one send, up to 20 files. A page or a login comes back as an error. The CLI does not sign into those accounts.
- The file still has to fit the plan’s transfer size.
Look and delete
node pink-jeepney.mjs list
node pink-jeepney.mjs status LmWtd
node pink-jeepney.mjs burn LmWtdstatus and burn take the id from the link, the short code after /t/. A send made with link shows up here the same as one made with send.
Big files on disk
An 8 GB file you already have is 16 parts of 512 MB. send asks for every URL in one call, uploads them, and finishes. You only see the link. If that movie is already a public URL, use link instead and skip the parts.
