ChatGPT and Codex

Codex can send the file when the key is in its environment. The ChatGPT window cannot run the command. Do not paste the key into the chat.

Codex

  1. 01Put PINK_JEEPNEY_TOKEN in the environment Codex uses. That is the sandbox or the machine, not the prompt.
  2. 02Ask Codex to send the file with the Pink Jeepney CLI and to return the pickup link.
  3. 03The command is node pink-jeepney.mjs send ./movie.mp4. Codex does not need OAuth.

ChatGPT

The chat window does not run the script. Send from the website or from Codex, then share the link in the chat. A custom action that stores the key sends that key to OpenAI. Prefer Codex or your own terminal, where the key stays on the machine.

The API

If Codex is generating a client, the calls are POST /api/v1/transfers, a PUT for each part URL, and POST /api/v1/transfers/{id}/finish. Authorization is Bearer and the key.
