Google Drive vs file transfer services
Drive is brilliant at staying. That is the problem, on a delivery.

Google Drive will take a large file and hand out a link. The file remains in your 15 GB, next to your mail. The link remains until you revoke it. People forget to revoke it.
The distinction that matters
A transfer service deletes on a clock you set at the start. That is the only structural difference that matters. If you need comments in a Doc, stay in Drive. If you need the InDesign package to arrive and then go, don’t use a shelf.

In one table
| Google Drive | A transfer | |
|---|---|---|
| The link | Stays until you revoke it | Dies on a date you set |
| The bytes | Sit in your 15 GB | Sit briefly, then go |
| Good at | Docs you edit together | A package that should arrive |
