Pink Jeepney vs Google Drive
Google Drive keeps a file close. Pink Jeepney is trying to let it leave.

The upload is the easy part. Everyone can build an upload. The product is what the file does after that.
Google Drive is a shelf. Sharing a link does not make it a courier. The file stays, in your account, until someone remembers to take it down.
What Google Drive is actually for
Collaboration. Docs, comments, a folder the team actually works inside.
If the file only needed one trip, a home for it is a strange gift.
The free 15 GB is shared with Gmail and photos. A single project can eat a month of mail.
Google One buys more shelf. It does not buy a shorter stay.
Where it gets awkward
The delivery never ends. Next year the link still opens. That is a feature until it is how a private cut leaks.
The numbers, side by side
| Pink Jeepney | Google Drive | |
|---|---|---|
| Free size | 2 GB | Shares your 15 GB |
| Free expiry | 7 days | Until you revoke it |
| Account to send | No | A Google account |
| Password | Paid plans | Link permissions |
| The top end | 250 GB on Business | As much storage as you buy |
Read the row you care about and ignore the rest. Most people only have one complaint. Size, or time, or the account.
What I would do
I would stay with Google Drive if the file is a living document, not a parcel.
I would use Pink Jeepney when I want a delivery with a checkout: one link, a sentence on the ticket, a zip if I sent a pile, and a burn switch if one download should be the end. Free is 2 GB for 7 days, three times a month. Past that the plans are $9, $24, and $59.
If you will still want the file in their account next year, you wanted a drive. If you wanted it gone after they took it, you wanted a transfer.
